Project information
In a world of fast furniture and faster lives, objects are treated as disposable. But objects have always been more than mere tools — they hold memories, they mark time, they become part of us. Their real function is not just utility, but the ability to tether us to fleeting moments, to experience our past presently. Inspired by Mark Rothko’s belief that “a painting is an experience,” Still, fleeting is an exploration of presence, memory, and wonder. A soft shifting of light hints at something happening just beyond reach — a thought before language. It resists explanation, inviting the viewer to feel rather than analyze. Its function is not merely to light a room, but to create a moment in space and time. To remind us that wonder is not something to solve, but something to live.
